Wanlov the Kubolor live im Funkhaus
Wanlov the Kubolor, Romanian born/Ghanaian raised singer/songwriter, will entertain us to an evening of melodies, stories and rhythms from his catalog of released and unreleased work in Broken English, Twi and Romanian.
Kubolor is member of a group called FOKN BOIS together with M3NSA and has collaborated with acts like King Ayisoba, Sena Dagadu, Gyedu-Blay Ambolley, Kyekyeku, Macanache, Sister Deborah and Francis Norman. He is also a strong advocate in Ghana for Human Rights and is outspoken on environmental protection & corruption.
Wanlov the Kubolor is known for his humor and unorthodox views on varying topics. He sometimes raps over fast strumming, chants to percussive guitar or sings heartfelt lyrics to a West African Highlife style of picking.
